Milwaukee Brewers 2026-27 key offseason dates

The Brewers' 2026-27 offseason includes several key deadlines beginning with free agency signings opening November 2 at 4 p.m. CT. The team must protect eligible minor league players from the Rule 5 Draft by November 17, with the draft itself scheduled for December 9 during the Winter Meetings, though it may not occur if a lockout begins as expected. First baseman Jake Bauers is Milwaukee's primary candidate to receive a qualifying offer at $23.15 million for 2027 after his strong 2026 season that included 26 home runs and NLCS MVP honors.
