Team of the decade? Drew Rasmussen, final combined win tally confirm 2026 Brewers' rare dominance

The 2026 Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series over the Tampa Bay Rays in five games, finishing with 114 combined regular season and postseason wins. Most preseason projections had the Brewers winning around 80-85 games, making their dominant season a significant surprise. Their combined win total ranks second in the decade since 2020, behind only the 2022 Houston Astros' 117 wins. Drew Rasmussen, the Rays' starting pitcher in the clinching Game 5 loss and a former Brewers draft pick, called the 2026 Brewers the best team he has ever played against.
