Jackson Chourio's "Brewers' Mr. October" case builds with Babe Ruth World Series stat comparison
Owen Jonas @ Reviewing the Brew

Jackson Chourio has collected 10 hits through the first four games of the 2026 World Series, matching Babe Ruth's feat from 1928 and becoming only the second player in MLB history to accomplish this in a World Series. The 22-year-old Brewers outfielder has recorded at least two hits in each of the four games, including a single and double in Game 4 despite Milwaukee's 12-inning loss to Tampa Bay. With the Brewers holding a 3-1 series lead, Chourio is the favorite to win World Series MVP if the team closes out the series in Game 5. Other Brewers contributors in contention for the award include catcher William Contreras with seven hits, rookie shortstop Cooper Pratt with five RBIs, and pitcher Jacob Misiorowski.
