Brewers’ teenage outfield prospect continues scalding stretch since midseason promotion
Eighteen-year-old outfield prospect Brailyn Antunez has thrived since his late-July promotion to Low-A, hitting seven home runs with a 1.194 OPS in 25 games for the Wilson Warbirds. Antunez, signed as an international free agent in January 2025 and ranked 42nd among top international prospects, started the season in Rookie Ball where he posted 27 extra-base hits and an .887 OPS across 58 games. His strong performance demonstrates the Brewers' continued ability to develop talent in their farm system despite trading away top outfield prospects Alexander Frias and Josiah Ragsdale to the Cardinals at the deadline.
