Astros To Interview Mike Rizzo For GM Vacancy

The Astros will interview Mike Rizzo for their vacant general manager position on Monday. Rizzo spent 16 seasons as Washington's GM, building a competitive team that won the 2019 World Series before the organization declined in recent years and he was fired last year. Other candidates for the Houston job include Brewers assistant GM Matt Kleine, who has already interviewed, along with several other assistant general managers from around baseball. At 65 years old, Rizzo is significantly older than the other candidates, though he brings more front-office experience than any of them.
