The Milwaukee Brewers' 2024 decision to move Aaron Ashby to a relief role has proven highly successful, as the left-hander is on the verge of setting an MLB postseason record. Since transitioning to relief in 2024 to protect his shoulder following 2023 surgery, Ashby has posted a 2.71 ERA over 156 innings since the start of 2025 with a 29.4% strikeout rate. The reliever has appeared in eight of the Brewers' first 10 postseason games as manager Pat Murphy's primary high-leverage option.
